Pilgrims Coffee House
The Coffee House
If you’re passionate about coffee, you’re in good company. Welcome to Pilgrims Coffee! Since 2006, Andrew Mundy has been obsessed with coffee – sourcing the best quality beans from Fairtrade farms, discovering the optimum roast for each bean and serving up perfect moments for coffee lovers across the UK as a wholesaler and for visitors to Pilgrims Coffee House on Holy Island.
Here at the home of Pilgrims Coffee on Holy Island you’ll find a relaxing environment to enjoy a cup of coffee, home-roasted out back in our very own yurt. Our historic building is over 100 years old and features seating across two levels as well as a beautiful walled garden in the summer and an open fire if the weather turns cooler. We’re child-friendly, dog-friendly and offer free WiFi.
You won’t go hungry during your visit. We believe in buying local and have sourced the best quality ingredients from the farms, stalls, shops and breweries nearby. Our hearty fare is homemade, fresh and tastes great. We aim to cater for most dietary requirements, so everyone can join in on the fun. We serve Northumberland tea for our house brew with flavour varieties coming courtesy of Bari Tea. Our homemade hot chocolate is velvety and sweet, made with only the finest ingredients. We serve prosecco, wine and a selection of spirits.
Being environmentally friendly and sustainable is incredibly important to us. That’s why we use compostable cups, plates and cutlery as well as eco friendly cleaning products. And we support Fairtrade and Rainforest Alliance Certified practices. Holy Island is such a fantastic place to live and work. We’ve loved being part of the community here since we opened our doors in 2006
