Our small team works as quickly as possible to get all of your coffee orders roasted, packed and dispatched. Due to our roasting schedule, sometimes we cannot ship your order out the same or next day - but please don’t worry, your coffee will be fresh and with you as soon as!
As we keep growing, we’re continually learning how to improve our processes - while ensuring we continue to provide consistently high quality coffee to all our customers. Thank you all - new and old - for joining us on our journey.
Monday: Fire up the roaster! We start the week with a full day of roasting, followed by a vigorous sampling session to make sure each batch of coffee is absolute perfection. We then set away blending each bach of coffee. This process usually takes the whole day.
Tuesday: Tuesday is a big ol' bagging day - we fulfil all orders placed between Friday to Monday with freshly roasted coffee. We aim to get all of the orders ready in time for Tuesday's post, but due to fluctuations in tides, we never know when the Postie will show up! Therefore sometimes these orders are collected on a Wednesday instead.
Wednesday: Back at it, we’re roasting all day.
Thursday: Another full day of bagging to finish off the week’s orders and get the cafe ready for a busy weekend.
Friday: It's a day for sampling, blog writing, website organising and just general Roastery admin.
Weekends: We don’t roast or pack on weekends, but your order will be first in the queue for Monday’s roast.
We want to deliver you the freshest coffee possible. This means that if an order is placed on a Friday or over the weekend, it may not be fulfilled until a Tuesday after a new roast day on Monday. Orders placed during the week will be bagged up either side of our roast schedule.
All of those that have visited us on the Holy Island of Lindisfarne will know that it is a tidal island. Though extremely beautiful and unique, this often has us rushing to get your orders ready to depart at 1 pm. However, sometimes the tide gets in the way and orders will need to go out at 9 am the following day.
Majority of orders are sent via Royal Mail, which often means you will receive your order the day after it is dispatched. Larger orders may require an additional day to be delivered to its final destination.
Please refer to our shipping policy page for more information.
We prioritise keeping your shipping costs as low as possible, and choose to show our postage as a seperate cost rather than build it in to the price of our products. We feel this reflects our desire to be honest about what we sell.
If you haven’t received your order within 5 business days, please contact us.
